Well I once took up his book ’’Far from the maddening crowd’’ and read the synopsis behind. Well the story went a loves b ; b loves c; c loves d; so on till z loves a.

I thought what kind of people would read his novels he is a soap author.
But now i am converted.

I once bought hi book ’’The mayor of casterbridge’’ the story line is almost the same.
But what was wonderful was his language, how he made such a stale subject a thriller( ccant put down stuff) , the agony and pain of the hero, heroine.
Their fight against the villian. It is better than the best Forsythe I read.

But the best part is you will feel pity for the villain and if you are faint hearted you will cry. Do try this out (not crying reading).
